Being an entrepreneur at heart, I am able to predict the practical issues that will likely come up in a deal or negotiation and address them upfront, with my clients and in documents. Having been trained at one of the premier major law firms, I know how to draft; and in so doing, help my clients anticipate issues before they come up. I have successfully represented clients on a wide range of matters, including business negotiations, real estate transactions, joint venture agreements, employment contracts, and other business ventures. I have also litigated complex real estate matters on behalf of clients who have been wronged or taken advantage of by other parties. I often say to my clients about legal issues that arise: "It's not a problem. It's a challenge! We will get it done!"

Nobody wants to sue or be sued. Sometimes, we just don't have a choice. I am a litigation professional with the passion, skill, and meticulous attention to detail that will help the Court arrive at the proper result benefitting my client. And I am not afraid of going up against the big boys! My litigation practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation. I especially enjoy engaging in litigation in real estate disputes. From the simple case to the complex one, my years at a major law firm have taught me how to navigate the system. And I will leave no stone unturned in helping my clients obtain justice. But you can also rest assured that I will advise you in a way that makes sense for the situation at hand. My clients range from mom-and-pop businesses in NY involved in commercial disputes to individuals involved in family/matrimonial disputes litigation to local schools and University addressing their assorted legal needs.

Practicing Debtor Creditor Law involves operating within a set of rules that can be very technical and extremely cumbersome. To obtain the right result, it is important to know the Bankruptcy Code and applicable statutes in detail and follow them meticulously while striking the right balance with your client's adversary. In practicing Debtor Creditor law, it's not enough to obtain a legal result on paper. Success is achieved only when the client has achieved the financial result in their bank account that they are seeking. I am particularly proud of my mastery of the bankruptcy and debtor creditor statutes and rules and the highly successful results I have achieved both for debtors and for creditors.

Even in areas where I dont devote most of my time, I have been very successful at guiding clients through difficult challenges. For example, divorce is one of the most traumatic experiences that an individual can face in his/her life. Sometimes, an individual dealing with a divorce situation is not necessarily looking for a full-time attorney but rather just a general practitioner who is able to give general advice. There are similar issues that arise in other practice areas such as criminal law. It is simply helpful to have an additional set of "eyes" and somebody to talk to and to know that you are talking with someone who will take your issues to heart. Having identified this need in the divorce and criminal law areas, I offer my services as an "in house" lawyer to individuals and supplement the services provided by full time criminal or marital attorneys. As a result, the divorces I have been involved in have run more smoothly and the client's legal needs have been better addressed. And clients involved in criminal issues have also expressed great appreciation for the role I have been able to play. My model has resulted in a much better outcome with less stress, lower expenses and a much less painful experience for my clients.
